HelloNepal is different from other calling-card services in many ways, including the way you call. Log in, buy calling credit and start calling Nepal like never before!
Please log in to buy
HelloNepal credit.
You have not logged in yet. Please proceed to log in using Facebook Connect or by using Rangeen Chara login page before using HelloNepal.
How does this work?
- Log in to Rangeen Chara
- Purchase calling credit if you haven’t done so. $4.75 gives 60 minutes to Kathmandu landline and 47 mins to mobile!
- Add phone number(s) you will use to make calls for PIN less dialing using the form below. For web-calls or calls from unregistered phones, you will need PIN code.
- To Call Using Your Phone: just dial (1)(567)248-0071 and follow voice prompts. Dial only the 8 or 10 digits Nepal number eg. Kathmandu: 14371XXX, Pokhara: 61430XXX ; Biratnagar: 21530XXX ; Butwal : 71540XXX ; Mobile : 98412XXXXX and so on.
- For web call: Click on the widget on the right pane and follow instructions. Dial destination number as described above.
- You can view your call history by clicking on links at the bottom of this page.
- No account maintenance fee, no connection charges, no expiry dates
Hello Nepal
Note: We are now offering this service to all destinations in Nepal, both landline and mobile phones.
Also, when asked for the destination number, dial 8 digits for landline and 10 digits for mobile. You do not need to dial country code. Examples Kathmandu: 14371XXX, Pokhara: 61430XXX ; Biratnagar: 21530XXX ; Butwal : 71540XXX and so on.
When using webphone, use headset for better audio quality.
What is going on, I paid for the credits this morning, I sitll see $0 as credit. What the hell is this?
@dipesh
Sorry for the late response. No, the advertised rate is for Kathmandu land-line only.
can i call to(cell phone in nepal) ntc mobile?and stil i can get 60 minutes?
Eagerly waiting for this service in Europe too..
@dipesh
We worked hard to build HelloNepal because we faced the same problems as you do today: problems in getting connected, the credits being deducted with out using the service and poor voice quality. We therefore will try our best to be different from other providers in these regards.
To buy credit, login first and then click on the Buy Now button on top of this page. You will be taken to PayPal payment page where you can pay the amount either by Credit Card or by PayPal account. I recommend paying by PayPal which requires you to create account in PayPal if you don’t have one yet. By doing so, you wont need to enter your credit information while shopping online in websites that accept PayPal.
Unlike with other calling card services, your account balance will remain as it is for months as long as you do not make calls. You can see the history of your calls and the charges for each call on your account.
In addition, if there is anything you don’t like about HelloNepal, please let us know and we will see how we can make it better.
so how can i buy card use it?is this not like other card? right.i mean,now i am using other calling card which has to be finished in one time call otherwise all my minutes will be gone if i use other time.
thank you for your quick response
@dipesh
Thanks for your interest in HelloNepal! We are technically capable of accepting calls to Nepal mobile phone but have decided to offer it to the public only after further testing. The rates, when we offer it, would be between 10 to 12 cents per minute.
i am just wondering if i can call to nepal in mobile or not.i f i can how much cost per minute?please.
From 08/23/2009, HelloNepal is available 24 Hrs a day to make a call between US/Canada numbers and Nepal-Kathmandu landline numbers.
@Bhawana Paudel
Please note that HelloNepal is currently in testing phase and it is available only at certain times (which again is not fixed). Once out of test phase, you can use HelloNepal at any time.
I highly appreciate your participation in making HelloNepal a reliable system.
hello,admin
I tried 2 make a call in the morning i.e 8am but no.. So let me know if you have any working hours?
@irashmi
Here are the answers to your two questions:
1. To edit or delete your comments, please send a request to rangeenchara@gmail.com
2. The disabled ‘Connect’ button indicates that the system is not available at that time. You need to comeback after some time.
@cheban22222
Yes, you will be charged a nominal fee (currently 8 cents but this will be lowered) even when you do not get connected or else there will be a large number of ‘miss-callers’ keeping the system busy. Also, there are some costs involved in initiating the connection. Therefore, for billing purposes, the call starts when you pick up the phone.
The fact is that HelloNepal charges are based on actual costs. We do not have account maintenance fees or anything like that. You only pay for making calls, nothing else!
Hi!! And I want to be able to delete the comments I post!!
Hey!! I am logged in but and am trying to make a call. The “Connect” button is not active. Help!!
But I feel that whenever you will not be connected to the receiver.Then your money is gone.And I don’t know,I used to get call back sometimes although I am disconnected.
@cheban22222
Thanks for sharing your experience! Calling rates to Kathmandu landline will remain 8.0 cents per minute. No other charges at all!
yes it is being very good.
If you keep the price to call Nepal be the same as it is than it will be very very nice.
Thanks for refunding
Experince with rangeen chara was good.specially phone service, keep it up!!
Hello Admin
